is an independent artist living in New York City.  She works in a variety of mediums, including oil, watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, and paper-cut. She creates custom ketubot with both traditional and modern abstract imagery, producing designs that resonate with each couple and represent their interests, hopes, and unique relationship. Batya works closely with each engaged couple to ensure they feel their ketubah accurately and beautifully portrays their love.

In addition to her ketubot, Batya designs and creates wall murals, paintings, portraits, personalized wedding and Bar/Bat Mitzvah invitations, and Judaica. She paints representative pieces, often focusing on ‘the human experience’ and the emotions that accompany being open to life’s beauty. Batya not only ensures that she has an intimate relationship with her pieces, but makes sure that her clients feel moved and inspired by the artwork that she creates for them, as well.
